West Tampa Center for the Arts. This is one of gems
of West Tampa that happened as a happy coincidence between
enlighted ownership and artistic needs. The Ellis-Van
Pelt family started renting out space on the second and
third floors of their commercial furniture business located
in the Antonio Santeaella Cigar Factory at 1906 N. Armenia.
In no time, it became home to over twenty art studios.
Recognizing a good thing and being community minded, the
families established the West Tampa Center for the Arts
in 2007 and now host regular art exhibits and shows. This
is what is supposed to happen in cities, and we are pleased
that it happened in West Tampa. For more information call
453-4381 about exhibits. Please visit West
Tampa Center for the Arts for more info. |

projects that have happened in West Tampa in the last
